Started as a concept in 2024, put on pause, and completely rebuilt from the ground up to redefine music discovery.

2024: The Foundation
Melodius started with backend work focused entirely on the hardest part: the infrastructure. I built the systems required for music playback, stream URL resolution, and the core APIs to make the platform possible. Then, exams and other projects forced me to put it on hold.
The Pause
Development stopped. The backend sat dormant while I focused on academics and large-scale bots. But the idea never left.
Rebuild & Launch
I came back to the project and rebuilt it into the platform it is today. Idea → Backend → Pause → Rebuild. Melodius finally became a reality.

Melodius isn't built by a large engineering team or backed by massive funding. It was engineered entirely by one person—Kumar Manas. Front to back, architecture to UI. Great products don't always start with a team; sometimes they start with an idea and someone willing to build it.

What's Next?
Melodius started in the browser and is now on Android too, free on Google Play. A Windows app is planned next. Every platform is listed on the download page.
